With their strong global differentation strategy, advertising campaign and plans to expand, they will definitely become the biggest threat to all wireless carriers. AT&T is still No. 1 as per the number of their customers, however, if Verizon Wireless closes the $28.1 billion deal to buy Alltel they will become the nation's largest mobile operator with more than 80 million subscribers.
